Mossy Creek Middle School is located off Danny Carpenter Drive in Kathleen, close to the new development area that includes the Kroger Shopping Center on Hwy 96. The school serves grades 6-8. Mossy Creek MS opened its doors to students in August of 2007. Mossy Creek MS received the Bronze Level state recognition for our high student achievement on the CRCT assessment and consistently outperforms the state averages in every area of the CRCT. The school colors are black and gold with the gator being the school mascot.
